The Independent Student Mentorship or ISM program is a unique and rigorous course that offers high achieving juniors and seniors in Frisco ISD the opportunity to explore and pursue careers that they're interested in.

After passing a thorough application process,  complete with teacher recommendations and interviews, students begin to conduct research over their chosen topic. This research is supplemented with a resume, digital portfolio, interviews, and ultimately a final project.​ Throughout the process, students will  receive hands on mentorship from a professional in their chosen career.

This program enables students to learn essential skills and gain insight into the professional environment which will aid them in success for the future.
